A check-up to better understand the causes of your emotional and functional disorders
Persistent fatigue, hypersensitivity, anxiety, sleep disorders, difficulty concentrating, feeling of unease… All these signals may be linked to an imbalance in neurotransmitters.
This check-up offers a detailed reading of these chemical messengers, to highlight your treatment history and better understand the origin of your symptoms.

Who is it for?
- You feel a chronic fatigue, diffuse unease or mood disorders,
- You suffer from anxiety, hypersensitivity or sleep disorders,
- You are affected by attention deficit disorders (ADD/ADHD), compulsions or addictive behaviours,
- You are undergoing neuroactive treatment and want to better understand its impact.
Why should I do the NeuroCheck check-up?
Explore the biological origins of your feelings
Neurotransmitters play a key role in our emotions, energy, behavior. This check-up helps you to better understand this balance
Better target a therapeutic support
By providing reliable data to your healthcare professional, this test can be used to guide a more personalized care (treatment, nutrition, lifestyle habits, etc.)
Complete a preventive or follow-up approach
This check-up can be part of a care or self-awareness program, in line with sustainable wellness objectives
Advantages of this check-up
- Understand what influences your emotional, cognitive or nervous state
- Identify potentiel imbalances or neurochemical overloads
- Support a therapeutic approach with concrete data
- Explore an option that is still rarely explored in conventional medicine
What is the purpose of this check-up?
This check-up explores neurotransmitters in two ways:
- In the periphery (inside the body)
Dopamine, adrenaline, noradrenaline and serotonin (in urine), GABA and glutamate (in blood), BDNF (in blood, on request) - In the brain (central activity)
Measure of metabolites such as HVA, VMA, 5-HIAA. They give indications on the activity of neurotransmitters in the central nervous system - Precursors analyzed: Amino acids that influence NT synthesis such as tyrosine, L-DOPA or tryptophan
⚠ An interpretation with an expert is recommended. Our check-ups do not replace medical advice.
Three steps to understand and take actions
1.
Take the sample at home or at the center
Collection of urine and blood according to protocol. No change in neuroactive treatment in the week prior to sampling
2.
Analysis of neurotransmitters and their metabolites
Dopamine, serotonin, catecholamines, GABA, glutamate, BDNF
3.
Results interpretable by a healthcare professional
A structured report, to be adapted to your personal context for appropriate care
What can reveal the test:
- A decrease or overproduction of certain neurotransmitters
- An imbalance between inhibition and excitement (GABA/glutamate)
- Profiles linked to attention, sleep or mood disorders
- An influence of microbiota on the neurochemical balance
The role of microbiota
The gut microbiota can influence the availability of neurotransmitter precursors and produce neuroactive compounds (toxic or beneficial). In case of dysbiosis, a complementary check-up of the microbiota may be useful. In particular, an altered microbiota may affect serotonin synthesis, 80% of which is produced by intestinal cells.
