What is the purpose of this check-up?
This check-up explores neurotransmitters in two ways:
- In the periphery (inside the body)
Dopamine, adrenaline, noradrenaline and serotnin (in ruine), GABA and glutamate (in blood), BDNF (in blood, on request). - In the brain (central activity)
Measure of metabolites such as HVA, VMA, 5-HIAA. They give indications on the activity of neurotransmitters in the central nervous system. - Precursors analyzed: Amino acids that influence NT synthesis such as tyrosine, L-DOPA, tryptophan…

The role of microbiota
